What causes engine carbon buildup?

In theory, fuel under perfect combustion in the automotive engine exerts only steam and carbon dioxide, but fuel under imperfect combustion of high temperature certainly exerts some pollutants such as carbon oxide, hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxides.  The ingredients of grease products (such as lubricant and petroleum) and high-temperature combustion make petroleum form the paint-like colloid on the nozzle and the intake valve since grease products have soluble and insoluble colloid ingredients where the former deposit on the nozzles, the intake valve and the intake manifold and the latter sediment in the fuel tank.
Automobile engine carbon buildup generally results from the 2 causes as follows.  First, carbon buildup caused by petroleum coke due to part imperfect combustion for fusion of high temperatures under combustion of the combustion chamber and low temperatures of the cylinder wall.  Second, automobile combustion occurs by inducting the crankcase oil gas to the intake manifold, but the major oil gas in the crankcase pertaining to the steam of engine oil with high viscosity that attaches to the intake manifold and enters the combustion chamber leads to carbon buildup as well.

How does carbon buildup affect your car?

Engine carbon buildup is caused by various factors such as grease products, engine design and driving habits for a long time.  The impacts of carbon buildup on your car include:
a. Reduced driving functions.
b. Advanced emission pollutants.
c. Increased oil consumption.
d. Hard to start your cold car.
e. Trembles during idling.

How to prevent carbon buildup?

The car makers fail to mark the time to remove carbon buildup of cars.  Normally, a car owner fails to remove engine carbon buildup unless it is found by the technician an abnormal circumstance or during routine maintenance.  The followings are some useful methods to cut and prevent carbon buildup:
a. Use of high-quality petroleum and diesel
b. No idling for long
c. Avoiding frequent stepping on the gas pedal
d. Periodic maintenance (overhaul)
